K-LASER

Non-invasive, drug-free laser therapy

an alternative therapeutic option for pain management

K-LASER is a non-invasive drug-free therapy that induces the following key benefits:
  • Accelerated Tissue Healing
  • Enhanced Pain Relief
  • Inflammation Reduction
  • Nerve Pathway Regulation
  • Reduced Pain Sensation
What can K-LASER Therapy treat?
  • Osteo & Rheumatoid Arthritis
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Back, Neck, Shoulder, Hip & Knee Pain
  • Sports & Work-related Injuries
  • Foot Conditions i.e. Plantar Fasciitis, etc.
  • Shingles, Cold Sores & Other Skin Conditions
  • Nerve Affected Disorders

How does the K-LASER Therapy Work?

Laser therapy uses selected wavelengths of light to stimulate positive effects in tissues. Decades of medical research have identified the wavelengths, energy level and frequencies that produce a cascade of positive results in the repair of damaged tissue areas whilst providing enhanced pain relief, inflammation reduction and nerve pathway regulation. K-LASER delivers energy from superficial to deep tissues activating a cascade of photochemical reactions that promotes cell function, enabling treated tissues to accelerate the stages of the healing process and reduce pain sensation.

This is a safe and non-invasive technique that uses the body’s own reparative processes. It does not work in one treatment alone. In chronic conditions such as arthritis, you should expect a programme of treatments to produce longer term benefit in terms of pain relief and inflammation reduction. The pain and inflammation reducing benefits enable you to enjoy an enhanced quality of life through improved mobility and range of movement.

In activity injuries, where the pain may be temporary but severe, it is possible that you will only require K-LASER therapy sessions for a short period of time, whilst accelerated tissue repair occurs and pain and inflammation is reduced. It will still be important to ‘respect’ the healing of acute (short-term/recent) injuries during your K-LASER programme by following your GP or consultant’s advice.

K-LASER - Treatments and Applications - Head to Toe

Targeted Natural Pain Relief Treatment

Some clients see significant and marked results after just 2 or 3 treatments. Importantly, laser therapy needs to be delivered by a qualified laser therapist. Marianne has been qualified in class IV laser therapy for several years and is a Member of the British Medical Laser Association and Federation of Holistic Therapists. In the following treatment video an ankle sprain is receiving K-LASER therapy for the relief of pain and to accelerate the healing process.

K-LASER treatment sessions start from only £40

K-LASER therapy works in an accumulative way, i.e. building up an optimum dosage of energy in the target tissue to optimise the healing process of damaged tissue, whilst providing enhanced, natural pain relief and inflammation reduction.

Ideally, in most chronic conditions, the recommended number of treatments as an initial course of therapy is 6 sessions over 3 weeks. Thereafter, in chronic conditions such as arthritis, maintenance doses may be required, from time to time, to ensure optimum level of energy is maintained in the damaged tissue/joint area to enable continuing benefit of natural pain relief and inflammation reduction for the longer term.

Costs of K-LASER treatments vary according to the severity of the condition being treated. Please telephone the clinic on 07917 358648 to have a free initial consultation – without obligation.

Frequently Asked Questions

K-LASER therapy works by delivering specific red and near-infrared wavelengths of laser light to damaged tissue which induces the therapeutic effect of accelerating tissue healing whilst also providing, reduction of pain and inflammation, decreased swelling, and regulating affected nerve pathways.

There is little or no sensation during treatment. Occasionally, you may feel a mild, soothing warmth or tingling. Areas of pain or inflammation may be sensitive briefly before pain reduction occurs.

Yes. There are numerous studies demonstrating the clinical effectiveness of Laser Therapy. Among these, there are over one hundred rigorously controlled scientific studies that document the effectiveness of laser therapy for many clinical conditions.

This depends on the nature of the condition being treated. For some acute and chronic conditions 4 to 6 treatments may be sufficient. More chronic conditions may require to 6 to 12 (or more treatments). Conditions such as severe arthritis may require ongoing periodic care to control pain.

You may feel improvement in your condition (usually pain reduction) after the very first treatment. Sometimes, however, you will not feel improvement for a number of treatments. It depends on the chronicity and type of condition being treated. This does not mean the condition is not improving. Each treatment is cumulative and results are often felt after 2 or 3 sessions.

Yes. K-LASER therapy is often used in conjunction with other treatment types such as osteopathy, massage, physiotherapy and as part of surgical rehabilitation.
